New job as a VA!

Finally after a couple of days of applying for online jobs, I am now hired! (Thanks Ross for letting me help you on your project.)

The job is easy and I am enjoying it. Also, I am learning a lot of new things. From the people I follow whose post are inspiring. I even created a twitter account for myself. For those who are not familiar with twitter... Well, it's a social-networking website which allows you to receive updates and read thoughts about what people are doing. It's like Friendster, MySpace and Facebook but better (IMO).

Since it's Christmas vacation and I have no other things to do, I am really glad that I landed on this job. It's fun, educational and it makes me think of bigger things and opportunities.

20 hours of work a week, $2/hour is not at all bad. That is still $40 a week. :)

Singapore to Malaysia Route

Singapore, here I come, again! :)

I've been notice that there has been alot of "again" coming lately. Like blogging, being in touch with my X's, and friends. Somehow, it felt good but some just leave bitter taste in my mouth.

Anyway,I've booked for Singapore on impulse last Saturday. And right now,I'm hunting the World Wide Web for information on how I can cross Malaysia from Singapore.

From my research, I have found out that there are actually 4-ways to get there. First, by bus, second is by train, third is by plane and lastly, by walking (if you have time and resistance to do so). Alright! Enough of corny jokes.

Anyway, from the East coast of Singapore you can ride the train at the Singapore Train Station. That's in Keppel Road, which is near the Tanjong Pagar MRT station. From there, you can ride your way to Kuala Lumpur. By taking the bus, your travel will take a couple of hours longer but if you love road trips and sight-seeing, well, this one suits you. And for those peeps travelling with oldies, I won't recommend the two options I mentioned above. It would be best if you will fly. Less hassle, time-saving, energy-saving way of getting there.

I'll be updating this info once I'm done with my IT and share more information about my adventure as soon as I get back here next month. That's still a couple of weeks from now so I still have a lot of time for research.

Lenovo S10 or MSI Wind U100

I've been fiddling my thoughts about these two UMPC for a while and really didn't get to the bottom of my decision. If I will base it on reviews, Lenovo S10 has its edge in terms of its look. Matte-finished, elegant and there's really a touch of class in it. Since I'm not a big fan of gloss, Lenovo S10 automatically gets my vote.

I’ve seen MSI Wind U100 on display at SM Pampanga last week and I liked it. Sadly they don’t have Lenovo S10 yet on display that’s why I’m still undecided. In terms of performance, I’m not sure there’ll be a noticeable difference because both use the Intel Atom processor. It would be nice of course if you have an extra budget for upgrades.

For Lenovo S10 package, it costs around 27k. Please check
Lenovo S10 for more.

PC Corner is selling MSI Wind for 20,999php for basic unit. Check out PC Corner for upgrade options.

Blog Again :)

Okay, so now I decided to start blogging as per my adopted brother's persuasion. Yeah, that's Eli. He's very good at it! That's why I can't refuse not to give in. Anyway, since it's Sembreak, I don't have classes and there aren't too much work here in my space, here I go again.

Hopefully I'll find more time when I get my connection at home. :)
