Dungeons and Treasures - Play for Money

Dungeons and Treasures is an RPG type game which enable its members to play and earn $$ at the end of each month by converting their golds to real money. I signed up for it because I am really addicted to online games since Facebook. I thought that instead of wasting my time with Facebook, why not try this game and at least, get rewarded at the end of each month.

There are a lot of surprises in each dungeon. At one time, you will be rewarded with Sword and potion which you can use for battle. If you're lucky you can get the Sword on your first dungeon but if not, then I would suggest that you buy a sword to fight for the monster or else you'll have a hard time defeating them.

Here's a step by step guide which basically my habit whenever I log in to D and T.

1. Scroll down and look for TREASURE HUNT under BONUS menu. You are allowed to have one Treasure Hunt Bonus everyday where you can earn more GOLDS or a KEY which you can use to open the CHESTS ROOM (This is under the PLACE menu). Don't worry you'll get a hang of it after 2 to 3 log ins.

Once inside the TREASURE HUNT, "Have My Free Box of the Day" and then click on "Play the Free Treasure Hunt". Click the part of the map that hasn't been shaded to win random amount of gold or treasure key. If you have found GOLDS, then it will automatically credit on your GOLD POINTS. If you have found a KEY, you will need to go to the CHESTS ROOM and to open a CHEST that corresponds to the key which contain GOLDS or other gifts.

2. After that, go to TEMPLE under PLACE. You need to do this 4 consecutive days to win a GOLDS.

3. Go to SHOPS and buy weapons. I suggest that you purchase the STRONGEST WEAPON your gold can buy so that it will be easier to fight with the Monster. If you still have more GOLDS to spend, buy an ARMOR to protect you.

4. Once you are done buying, go to MY EQUIPMENT under YOU menu to equip yourself with the weapons and things you have bought from the SHOP.

5. Click on TAVERN under PLACE and look for a dungeon to explore. Enter that dungeon and begin your quest. Click on each item you see inside the dungeon. There are lots of golds, keys, potion and swords. Keep your quest until your time runs out or you can exit it and then return later to finish the quest. But you have to remember, DO NOT LEAVE or EXIT the DUNGEON as your quest for the day will end. You will have to wait for tomorrow for another dungeon to open.

TIP:
If your weapon has broken, exit the dungeon, go to SHOPS>WEAPON SHOP and have it repaired.

I post more tips regarding DAT on my next post. :)

Earn Money from myLot

I am a new myLot member. I read some very inviting reviews about myLot so why not try it. Anyway, there's no easy money right? And I see nothing wrong trying it as I am spending most of my time online. I've tried CAPTCHA which I found out to be a waste of time, so why not try this one too.

At first, as any other new user I am overwhelm with a lof of things I saw from the site. But it gets practically easy as I browse and read the guidelines.

I was presented with tasks created by myLot members too and upon completion of the task, they will pay you a particular amount.I have not tried it though. I was focused on how I can start interesting topics to post and where I can generate more comments.

There are a couple of things that I am trying based upon the suggestions I have read.

1. Select an interest. So far, I've posted 5 topics and been thinking of interesting post so I can gather more reader to comment on that particular interest.

2. Answer questions asked by other myLot members. I've already commented on 15 different topics and will try more and see how it will work for me.

I have not tried posting images yet but it was suggested that I should. I'll try that in the days to come. Right now, I just want to focus more on writing and commenting to other's post.

Actually, joing myLot is a lot of fun. You get to answer a lot of questions depending on your interest and at the same time making friends.

Happy myLotting everyone! :)

Survivor Season 19 - Survivor Samoa

Finally, Survivor Season 19 has started. It's frustrating though that QTV11 didn't air the premiere episode. I was waiting for it to air last September 28. Probably, there has been a problem with the contract. Anyway, thanks to YouTube I was able to catch up with the episodes I missed.

There's a lot of interesting characters in the show. First on my list is Russell from the Foa Foa tribe. I hate and like him at the same time. He's smart, dark and manipulative. I wonder if the entire tribe never gets suspicious about the way he manipulates each of them. There's also Shambo, she's someone whom you will hate or like, too. But so far, she’s on my bad side. And there's Yasmin, the tactless member from the Galu team. I also like Dave, who has the highest IQ at 140.

I hope that this season will be more exciting and interesting and that the stronger player won’t get eliminated early. But this is a strategy game so we can never really expect what will happen next.

I don’t have any bet at this time but I’m more of a Galu fan at the moment. I hope to see more mind boggling puzzle games and see how it will rock Mr. Dave's big brain.

Captcha Encoder - Is Captcha Worth Your Time?

CAPTCHA or "Completely Automated Public Turing Test to Tell Computers and Humans Apart" is a tool that most online web services used to protect their system from spammers/scammers. Many of us have encountered it - when signing up for a new account or in a social networking group. In case you are still clueless about it, well it is a set of letters and number usually in box, or a distorted image where you will need to identify the letters or numbers and type what's in the box.

CAPTCHAs are widely used by web services such as Yahoo, Facebook, Hotmail and others to prevent automated software from performing actions which effect their service - from abuse or other illegal online activities.

I've been seeing a lot of CAPTCHA encoding jobs on the internet and I must admit that I was once became a victim of it (only for 20 minutes). After 20 minutes of encoding CAPTCHAs, I stopped and told the buyer that it's not worth my time. Why? Do the Math. $0.75 - $1 per 1000 CAPTCHA's. I've tested it for 20 minutes and I was only able to input 80 entries. Even if you are a faster typist than me (60-70wpm) or you have a 5mbps internet connection, it is still not possible to earn $1 within an hour. To earn $1, I still need to 920 CAPTCHAs. Imagine that! I wonder why there are still a lot people who continue to work for this kind of job. Well, I guess it's better to do something productive than doing nothing at all. But if you are a seriously looking for home-based jobs why not try Odesk or RentACoder.com.

Studying in Australia - Student Visa for Australia

We are home at last! After 7 hours of traveling to and from Manila, I'm glad I am now in the comfort of my room.

JR (my cousin) and I sought assistance from IDP in Paseo de Roxas Makati for initial consultation regarding our plan to study in Australia. I'm glad my bestfriend offered to fetch us at Robinson's Ortigas and gave us a free ride to Pioneer House where the IDP office is located. It has saved us a lot of time.

Upon entering the office, we were courteously greeted by the front desk officer and asked about our reason for visiting. We were given a form, filled it up and then gave it back to the receptionist and after a few minutes, we were assisted inside and talked to our counselor, Mrs. Sylvia regarding our concern.

We're able to asked our counselor what's the best university or institution for us, the initial tuition fee we need to pay and an estimated amount we need to prepare for our 2 years study in Australia.

In regard to the show money, as long as you have a dedicated sponsor. It does not matter who that person is as long as you can provide a duly notarized an affidavit of support.

The consultation is free. In fact, our counselor even asked us to update her every now and then regarding our plan. But so far, it remains a plan...

I'll be updating my post regarding this in the weeks to come.

Anger Management Tips - How To Subside Anger

How many times in a day do you get angry? Even on little things? If you get angry too often, I am warning you. It’s not healthy. In fact, it can cause serious damage to our body if it gets uncontrollable and if we’re not able to manage it properly.

Being angry is a natural emotion. Being angry means something has gone wrong. Long-term anger has been connected to disturbed sleeps, chronic headaches, digestive problems, increased blood pressure, and even heart attack.

Let me quote Aristotle when he said, “Anybody can become angry - that is easy; but to be angry with the right person, and to the right degree, and at the right time, and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.”

I admit that sometimes, anger can get the best of me. At a snap, I feel like I am another person. After a few seconds of pounding my pillow or slamming the door, I feel a sudden release of tension.

I have read a lot of tips on Anger Management though sometimes, I fail to apply it. It helps to always remember these things and keep yourself reminded that the people you maybe angry at are the people you love. When we are angry, we tend to say things that we may regret and once said we can never take it back.

Get a punching bag. Punching helps release anger, tension and stress. Play a loud music and scream it out.. Instead of yelling at your friends because you are arguing, step back and take a deep breath. Deep breathing helps you relax and makes you feel better. Count 1 to 10 or 100 if you are really angry.

These things are the simplest yet I find most effective for me. It can work on your anger management too.

I'm loving you so far...

Yes! That's true. Finally, I have found a new love on Globe Broadband. Got you! hahaha... I know I've been loveless for the passed few years but who says I cannot find love on other things.

Yesterday I received a call from a Globe personnel informing me that the technicians are on their way to install the Wireless Globe Broadband. I hurriedly came home and in less than 30 minutes, I'm online at 512kbps max. I have tried watching videos, played FarmTown (yes me! a certified Farmtown addict), accessed multiple websites, and the speed was satisafactory for me. And last night before I bid goodnight, I have left my laptop downloading a movie file and now, I am ready to watch it.

Keep following my blog for more Globe Broadband updates? You're sure gonna hear a lot of it in the coming days. So far, I'm loving it. :)
